I plan on doing a review on the excellent remake of Maniac for the next fanzine.  This was a quick sketch done while watching the movie.

Been in Floridum for the last week or so, but the stoopid sketching continues.

I drew these watching HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY...one of my faves.  FULCI LIVES! 

I was starting to run out of ink at the end of the movie, but it still turned out OK I guesstimate.  I would love doing a full colored piece...maybe I will make that my first digital paint project.

New scraps - September 2013

Here are some new scraps I've accumulated.  I've been slowly getting stuff ready for the new Cropsy's Crypt, but for this outing I wanted a more coherent comic format, something like classic Skywald or Creepy where a crypt keeper like Cropsy takes some poor sap on a journey through the underbelly of cinema.  Each new movie will literally come alive to eviscerate Cropsy's captive audience.  The punchline at the end will of course be some sort of sadistic revenge on deserving cretins, or some punks antagonizing the our protagonist.  Time will tell....stay tuned...!

I've also been musing about some stories set in a bog of some sort with a Swamp Thing like character terrorizing peeps  Tentative title.... Tales from the BLOOD BOG!

Here is something strange, I drew this a while ago right before my old place burned down.  Everything in my room was totally destroyed by the fire, completely black, yet this drawing survived:
